为了培养具有国际视野和扎实法学根底的法治人才，北京师范大学法学院将于2023年2月13日至3月9日开设“ 欧洲私法基础”专题全英文课程。本课程将邀请数位欧洲私法领域的著名教授进行一系列讲座，全方位介绍欧洲私法从古至今的发展，分享他们最前沿的学术思考与研究内容，通过历史和教学的视角使学生熟悉罗马法的制度、核心问题和基本原则。现将有关事项通知如下:

授课对象：本课程主要面向北京师范大学法学院在校本科生、硕士和博士研究生，少数名额面向校外学生。本课程设有考勤，选课学生须全程参与，方可获得课程结业证书。

开课时间：2023年2月13至3月9日，每周一、周四18：00-20：00（北京时间）。

授课形式：线上，ZOOM

授课方式：本课程以学生为中心教授罗马法核心概念和基本原则，旨在激励学生培养学习兴趣和批判性思维。教材为授课老师精选的文献。

三、授课学者简介

Enrico Toti is a Professor of Chinese Law at the Department of Law of the University of Roma Tre and Visiting Professor at the School of Law of the Shanghai International Studies University.

He is the author and editor of numerous publications on Chinese law and Roman legal system, including articles in law journals and essays on Contract law in the PRC, a Series of Translated Laws of the People's Republic of China, and a monograph entitled “Chinese law of contracts and the roman legal system”.

Moreover, he is a speaker at numerous national and international academic conferences organized by banks, industrial associations, institutions, public bodies, and associations in the field of Chinese law.。

Aldo Petrucci is full professor in Roman Law at the Department of Law, University of Pisa since 2000 and has had several institutional roles at the University of Pisa. His main fields of research deal with the various areas of Roman public law, especially constitutional evolution, organization of the territory and international relations; the various branches of Roman private law, in particular, the area of contract law and commercial relations; and the reconstruction of the historical roots of the private law systems of some European countries, notably with reference to the law of contract and inheritance.

Professor Petrucci serves on the scientific committees of several Italian and foreign journals. He was in charge of research projects funded by the Ministry of the University (PRIN), the University of Pisa (PRA), and foreign public and private bodies, and is responsible for an agreement with the Institute of Computational Linguistics (ILC) of the CNR. His scientific activities have resulted in more than 160 publications, including about fifteen monographs and handbooks, several papers, and volume contributions in Italian, English, Spanish, and French.

Sandro Schipani is full professor of Roman Law at the "Sapienza" University of Rome. He founded the Center for Latin American Legal Studies at the "Tor Vergata" University of Rome, and the Observatory on Legislation and Jurist Education in China within the framework of the Romanist legal system. In his prestigious career, he has worked on tort liability in Roman law, analysis of general principles of law to be applied to the international debt of Latin America, and codification of civil law in China. He edited the translation of Justinian's Digests and has always been interested in comparing Justinian's codes with modern codification. In addition, he is the author of several monographic works and specialized articles published in Italy, Germany, France, Latin America, China, the editor of numerous works and director of the journal Rome and America. Common Roman Law. As a professor, has led numerous inter-university research projects and is a member of numerous national and international scientific associations.

Tommaso dalla Massara is full professor of Roman Law at the University of Roma Tre.

As a professor, he has always been interested in models of European private law in the field of property relations, including from the perspective of procedural protections. He has held various positions in the University of Verona's governance and academia more generally. He is the author of four monographs, more than a hundred essays notes to judgments, and contributions in scholarly journals, editor of collected works, and editor of a new Scientific Series for "Il Mulino."

In addition, Tommaso dalla Massara has in the past collaborated with the Justice Commission at the Chamber of Deputies in the preparation of two bills, one on the subject of art. 96, paragraph 3, c.p.c. (so-called 'lite temeraria'), and the other concerning the statute of limitations of guarantees related to the sale of corporate shareholdings.

Riccardo Cardilli is full Professor of Roman Law and History of Roman Law at the Faculty of Law, University of Rome "Tor Vergata". In his prestigious career, he has held important roles as Director of highly qualified international research organizations or institutes and he has been Director of the Center for Eurasian Studies at the University of Rome "Tor Vergata" since 2019. He was in charge for the University of Rome "Tor Vergata" of the Observatory on Codification and Jurist Education in China within the framework of the Romanestic legal system (from 2007 to 2010) and a Member of the Board of Directors of the University of Rome "Tor Vergata". He is the author of works exploring obligations (Obligation and Inequality). For a critical reading of the obligation in Fredrich Karl von Savigny, for "Il Mulino"; "Damnatio e oportere in the obligations" and "The praestare obligation and contractual liability" for "Giuffrè") and the Roman foundation of today's legal systems ("Roman foundation of today's rights," " "Bona fides between history and system." and "The legal notion of fructus"). He is also the author of the book entitled "Introduction to Chinese Law" for Giuffrè. In addition, he is the author of about 80 publications related to the same subjects.
