Bert had a brass (铜管) band and they played:

OOMPAH-BANG-TING-A-LING!

Bert’s Band won the Band Cup. They played: 

伯特的乐队赢得了乐队杯。他们演奏着：

OOMPAH-BANG-TING-A-LING!

They played all the way home on the bus. 

他们在回家的公共汽车上也一直演奏着。

They got off the bus at midnight.

他们在午夜时分下了公共汽车。

Bert told his band, “Take off your socks and your boots.”

但是他告诉他的乐队，“脱掉袜子和靴子。

The band asked, “What for?”

乐队问道:“为什么?”

Bert said, “So we won’t wake anyone up!”

伯特说:“这样我们就不会吵醒任何人了！”

They took off their socks and boots.

他们脱下了袜子和靴子。

Bert said, “Shhhhh! go on tippy-toes !”

伯特说:“嘘！踮起脚尖！”

So ... Bert’s Band tip-toed up the main street playing:
